About the event
Join Suzanna Christison and Sheree McKenzie bushwalking in one of their favourite places in the Victorian high country.
Mount Cobbler is a spectacular mountain at the headwaters of the King River. On this day trip, we will drive from Whitfield in the King Valley up to Lake Cobbler to begin the 4.5km walk up towards the summit. Through mountain ash forest and snowgums, over the bubbling Dandongadale Creek we make our way up towards the conglomerate rock heights. The likelihood of snow and potential weather will dictate how far we climb, however we hope to get above the tree-line for spectacular mountain views!
